Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisites: POLS 150 This course addresses the historical development of the Congress, the dynamics of congressional elections, analytical perspectives on the study of Congress, and the major internal mechanisms of the institution including parties, leaders, committees, rules, etc.
