3. kumeł ’iš’aniwaš, tsapits̓ǝ ’iš’aniwaš, muštšum ’iš’aniwaš, mušwašǝtš, Lit., '(its) old blood is bad, (its) old blood is hot, (its) old blood is not agreeable, it is not good' (there may be some idiomatic translation that is being missed here).
4. muštšum ’i šup, muštuhuy, ki samt̓olóqʰ, 'the year is bad, no rain, the people are all hungry.'
5. tsiyikuswu simays kasa’ax̓xkatǝ’ǝš sałne’emuštšum, 'they feed them corn and swill.'
6. lokaštum katšotšonǝ’ǝš, 'fish eggs.'
7. k̓uwe muštšum susam’uw kǝwǝ ne’esitołmow, 'but they were no good to eat, they were already rotten.'
8. muštšum šikpoš, 'my heart is sad.'
9. muštšum lusam’uw, 'it is no good to eat.'
10. ne’emuktšum, 'I am no longer a well man.'
11. muktšum, 'I am bad, I am good for nothing.'
12. tštštikumšaš, muštšum, 'the point and other side of the fish hook, it is no good.'
13. muštšum ’išpoš, 'he is sad'
