Description: Hours: Three hours lecture per week
Prerequisite: Admission to Master of Arts in Early Childhood Studies program
Description: Focus on the pedagogy of listening, observing, making visible children and adult learning. Study of observation techniques for documenting and assessing children¿s growth and learning, using a narrative, formative assessment approach. Critical thinking and analysis skills and scholarly writing will be emphasized. This is a graduate level writing course.
