Description
Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite: PAMU 263 and PAMU 264, both with grade of C- or better Recommended: PAMU 263 and PAMU 264, both with grade of B or better within the past 2 semesters Description: Reinforces and applies the techniques studied in diatonic and chromatic harmonies through voice leading, harmonization, music analysis, and composition. Topics include tonicization, modal mixture, chromatic sequences and modulation, advanced music analysis, composition, and an introduction to jazz theory. Effective fall 2022, changed from PAMU 461.
