SOC 327 - Qualitative Approaches to Soci
Description
Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite: SOC 321 Description: Examines the epistemological evolution and empirical application of qualitative research methods. These methods include: interviews, observation, ethnography, focus groups, content analysis, participatory action research, evaluation research, and mixed methods. Students will analyze exemplar works, and practice data collection and analysis techniques, with an emphasis on positionality.
