Description
Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisites: HLTH 100 and HLTH 101 Description: Introduces basic knowledge of health informatics, including data acquisition and management, vocabularies, standards, tools, major technologies, and applications of informatics such as clinical databases, billing, electronic patient records, lab tests, and electronic prescriptions, as applied in support of health care delivery.
