Hours: Variable number of hours field study per week. Equivalent to a minimum of 8 weeks of student teaching Prerequisite: Admission to the Education Specialist Teaching Credential program Description: This is the second part of a two part field experience series that provides students with the opportunity to gradually assume the responsibilities of a special education teacher in a public school including teaching, assessing students, IEP development, collaborating with parents, teachers and special services personnel.
