Hours: Three hours lecture per week Description: Focuses on music notation, reading music, and working with the basic materials of the Western major-minor tonal system. Topics include musicianship; notation; meter and rhythm; diatonic melody and harmony; and music technology; as well as aural skills. Designed for students without any prior experience in music.
