Prerequisites: Admission to Master of Arts in Early Childhood Studies program
Description: Examination of current research regarding multilingualism including early language acquisition theories and biliteracy development. Focus on linguistic diversity with an emphasis on birth through age 8 in early childhood settings including the home. Participation in service-learning project for advocacy in creating equitable learning experiences for young dual language learners and their families following a sociocultural framework.
