MARIACHI GIRL is a dynamic bilingual musical about a young girl’s dream of following in her father’s footsteps to become a Mariachi, but her dream runs counter to his traditional, patriarchal roots. Told through the eyes of a young girl, the musical explores cultural stereotypes and assimilation in the United States. It is a heartwarming story that celebrates cultural identity and promotes a positive self-image for young women.

MARIACHI GIRL open auditions will be held May 7th from 1-4 p.m. and May 8th from 7-10 p.m. at Malibu Hall 140.
