This workshop will focus on K-3 early literacy teaching strategies that are play based, as well as culturally and linguistically sustaining. The workshop is meant to help us gear up to begin offering a PK-3 ECE Specialist Instruction Credential. The workshop will focus on the K-3 English Language Arts & Literacy California Common Core State Standards and the various culturally and linguistically sustaining teaching strategies that K-3 teachers use to support their young students meeting such standards.
