By taking part in the International Research Experience for Students (IRES) Program, sponsored by the National Science Foundation, our group of five students from different backgrounds were able to come together for an enriching cultural experience on the other side of the world. Collaborating with students from the prestigious Tsinghua University in Beijing, as well as Tianjin University, we were able to contribute to current research in the field of wireless communications while developing invaluable team working skills that will serve us for years to come.
