Description: Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite: Admission to Educational Leadership for Equity and Justice, Ed.D. Program Description: Students will learn advanced methods for data collection, analysis, display, and presentation of qualitative and quantitative data. Students will explore different types of analysis and utilize data analysis software to examine quantitative and qualitative data. Students will learn how to create effective data visualizations, including how to identify and present interesting stories in their data, how to convey stories through visualizations and other methods of qualitative and quantitative data presentation, and how to maximize the impact of their research. Students will also learn about applying an equity lens to their visualizations and to their presentation of findings, along with strategies to examine issues of equity, diversity, inclusivity, and access in analyzing and communicating data and findings.
