Description: This course focuses on person-centered care of adults and older adults experiencing acute and chronic health alterations that require nursing intervention, while considering the concepts of community, social justice, quality and safety, and professional nursing practice. This course builds on Nursing Care of Adults I, by expanding on the role of the nurse in an interdisciplinary team within a complex health system and deepening the understanding of social determinants of health.
