Description: This course provides an integrative, family-centered approach to the care of women and childbearing families. Emphasis is placed on growth and development of the fetus and newborn, uncomplicated and high-risk pregnancies, family dynamics, women¿s health, and the promotion of healthy behaviors while considering social determinants of health, intersectionality, and principles of social justice.
