Description: Hours: Three hours lecture per week
Description: Examination of theoretical positions of early development and learning. Description of developmental domains included in the California Early Learning and Development System including physical, cognitive, language, social, and emotional development. Evaluation of developmental milestones with specific discussion of children with special needs. Focus on cultural and environmental influences on child development prenatal through infancy, toddlerhood, and early childhood, from an anti-bias perspective.
