Description: Hours: Four hours lecture per week
Description: Foundations of the practice of data science. Exploration and implementation of the data science life cycle in locally relevant contexts. Emphasis on statistical thinking and computer programming required to collect, prepare and analyze data numerically, visually and algorithmically, and, ethically communicate findings. Introduction to machine learning. This course integrates the addition support required by EO 1110.
