The course emphasizes both personal and cultural perspectives, examining symbolism, allegory, and the possible utility of creativity in clinical and therapeutic settings. Through readings, a sketchbook project, discussions, and creation of original artworks, students will analyze works of art, articulate emotional and intellectual responses, and connect psychological insights with artistic practice.
