Description: A writing intensive course that examines the major visual components of global contemporary culture. This course will explore a wide range of issues related to the multicultural identities of contemporary postmodern culture. Developments in the late 20th and early 21st centuries in film, performance, digital media, and critical theory as well as such traditional visual forms of expression as painting and sculpture will be discussed.
