Description: Examines the physical processes that shape coastal environments and influence shoreline change. Topics include coastal hydrodynamics, wave processes, sediment transport, coastal landforms, hazards, and sea level rise. Students analyze coastal datasets, evaluate shoreline management strategies, and investigate interactions between natural coastal processes and human development.
