Description: Examination of early intervention and inclusion practices and policies in early childhood settings. Discussion of early intervention as a system that supports babies and toddlers, and young children with developmental delays including understanding of Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) and Individual Education Program (IEP). Identification of inclusion practices for access, participation and identification of least restrictive environments and the use of Universal Design for Learning. Special emphasis on culturally and linguistically diverse children with special rights. Ten hours of observation required.
