Description: Explores the rich possibilities of image production through traditional and contemporary relief printmaking techniques. Emphasis is placed on wood, linoleum, and other alternative blocks, and on expanding the traditional boundaries of relief printmaking by incorporating contemporary ideas and digital applications. Investigates the connections between the technologies of reproduction, individual expression, and the relationship of contemporary print practices to various social and political movements.
