Description
Hours: Three hours seminar per week Prerequisites: Three units in Sociology Examines religion in contemporary society: beliefs, rituals, organization, and the social functions of major denominations and religious cults. Examines stability and conflict, fundamentalism and secularization, and religion in the context of other social institutions.
