Description
Hours: Four hours lecture per week Prerequisite: BIOL 203 or MATH 200 or MATH 201 or MATH/PSY 202 Description: Focuses on research design in the health sciences and the basic data analysis skills to examine both quantitative and qualitative methods of research in areas relevant to the health sciences. Topics may include: experimental research designs, survey research design, hypothesis formulation, questionnaire and interview design, interviewing techniques, community research, generalizability, sampling, data preparation, and analysis of primary and secondary data. Research ethics and related topics are also addressed.
