Description
Hours: Three hours lecture and three hours laboratory per week Prerequisite: PHYS 201 Corequisite: MATH 350 Description: Introduction to fundamentals of electrical circuits and circuit analysis concepts. Covers analysis of electrical circuits including resistors, capacitors, inductors, dependent and independent sources, Op-Amps, and transformers. Topics include DC circuits analysis methods such as Ohm's law, Kirchhoff's Laws, Superposition, Thévenin's and Norton's Theorems, the maximum power transfer theorem, transient and steady-state analysis of circuits, and frequency domain analysis techniques for AC circuits.
