Description
Hours: Three hours lecture per week Description: Explores Critical Race Theory as a framework for analyzing racialized experiences in the United States and the relationship between "race", ethnicity, gender, class, power, and resource allocation. Examines the ¿evolution¿ and continuing relevance of racial identities and ethnic notions, as well as the development and defense of related ¿racial projects. Survey's the historical development of critical race theory scholarship (¿race crits¿), racial projects, and strategies toward the development of social justice.
