Description
Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite: HLTH 102 and 301 Description: Examines the role of political institutions in policy making related to issues of aging, the political factors that shape policy formulation and implementation, the values and assumptions of different types of policies, and the links between policy and implementation. Analyzes current and pending policies' effects on older adults as well as businesses and institutions that serve them to illustrate how aging policy reflects American politics.
