Description
Hours: Three hours lecture and three hours laboratory per week Prerequisites: BIOL 200 Overview of the complexity of marine life including marine plants and animals and the processes that underlie their distribution and abundance in open oceans, coastal regions, estuaries and wetlands. Topics included diverse interactions of organisms in the intertidal zone, over the continental shelves and in the open oceans. Field trips to local marine environments will be taken.
