Description
Hours: Two hours lecture per week Prerequisite: NRS 200, NRS 201, NRS 303, NRS 304, NRS 306 Corequisite: NRS 231 Description: This course provides an integrative, family-centered approach to the care of mothers, infants, and women. Emphasis is placed on normal growth and development, normal and high-risk pregnancies, family dynamics, and the promotion of healthy behaviors. Focus is on the care of families during childbearing years. Emphasis is on health promotion and growth and development, using the nursing process while applying Neuman's Model.
