Description
Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite: Admission to the Biotechnology & Bioinformatics, M.S. or the Biotechnology, M.S. & M.B.A. Dual Degree program Description: Develops theoretical background and practical skills in statistics and probability required for the interpretation and utilization of genomic data. Topics include biological sequence alignment and analysis, sequence structure and function prediction, database searching, gene expression profiling, statistical genetics, and phylogenetic inference.
