Description

Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite: Junior Standing and successful completion of Golden Four GE Areas (A1, A2, A3, B4) or Consent of Instructor Description: Reviews the basic theories, research, and applications of human motivation.  It will cover both historical and contemporary perspectives, including biological, social, learning, and cognitive approaches.  Students will learn how to integrate these theories and approaches in order to explain and predict human behavior through an understanding of motivation. Applications to issues of public concern will be explored.
