Description
Hours: Two hours lecture and three hours lab per week Prerequisite: BIOL 203 or MATH 200 or MATH 201 or MATH 202/PSY 202 Description: Introduces quantitative methods as used in health science research with the goal of statistical literacy. Advanced statistical techniques and data analysis unique to the health sciences. Principles of sampling design, hypothesis testing for health science research, data collection techniques, statistical analysis and interpretation of data, as well as reporting of results. Use of statistics software frequently used in the field.
