Description

Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite: Junior Standing and successful completion of Golden Four GE Areas (A1, A2, A3, B4) Description: A fertilized egg can give rise to a vast cellular society containing trillions of cells with hundreds of different functions. This course will explore this amazing process by examining reproduction and development in a variety of animals, including humans. Technological, ethical, and environmental issues related to reproduction and development will be discussed. No credit given toward the biology major.
