Description

Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite: NRS 500 and NRS 502 and NRS 504 with grades of C or better Corequisite: NRS 521 Description: Care of patients across the lifespan with the focus on health promotion and disease prevention is the first sequential course. Applications of current research and theory-based interventions are analyzed. Individual, family, and health education (individual and group) for patients and families is incorporated. Emphasis is care of the patient in which health promotion, risk reduction, and disease prevention are incorporated.
