Description

Hours: Three hours lecture per week Description: Provides students with strategies to help them make sense of our information-saturated world. Students should critically assess information, differentiate the perspectives of information seekers from providers and evaluate our sources of knowledge through issues such as surveillance, surrogates, privacy, information-seeking behavior, information control, intellectual property, digital democracy, and emerging information communication technologies.
