Description
Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisites: Junior Standing and successful completion of Golden Four GE Areas (A1, A2, A3, B4) Description: Examination of the intimate linkages between the creation of cultural values and the perception of economic value through the analysis of production and exchange in various cultural contexts. Synthesis of the debates in the field of economic anthropology and application to pre-historic, modern, Western and non-Western societies.
