Description
Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite: Junior Standing or Consent of Instructor Description: Examines the influence psychology has on the behavior of financial practitioners and the subsequent effect on financial markets. Investigates psychological variables (such as heuristics, biases, overconfidence, and sentiment) and how the resulting affective and cognitive reactions impact personal and general financial decisions. Examines how to apply behavioral finance in investing, corporate financial decision making, and financial market management.
