Description
Hours: Two hours lecture and two hours activity per week Description: Introduces students to quantitative, analytical skills, and technological tools commonly used in ESRM scholarship with an empahsis on open-source tools. Analytical categories include parametric, non-parametric, multidimensional scaling, and Monte Carlo approaches to hypothesis testing. Coursework will span data structure and QA/QCing of datasets, progress to common experimental design and hypothesis testing, and compare and contrast common social and ecological experimental design and data structure.
