HIST 338 - Theatre in History

Description

Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite: Junior Standing and successful completion of Golden Four GE Areas (A1, A2, A3, B4) Description: A survey of the history of theatrical productions. Includes formal productions and performances as well as other types of theatre or dramatization, such as political posturing, i.e., a ruler's rise to power in historical reality as well as performed or recorded later in theatre, music, and history. Students must earn a C- or better to fulfill the Graduate Writing Assessment Requirement (GWAR).
