Description
Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisites: BIOL 504 Description: Examines selected areas of current research interest in cellular and molecular biology from the perspective of the primary literature and the experimental basis of current knowledge. Emphasizes critical analysis and effective communication of scientific information. Topics may include gene expression, protein structure and function, signal transduction, metabolism, the cytoskeleton and extracellular matrix, membrane dynamics, and the molecular basis of disease.
