Description
Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite: Junior Standing and successful completion of Golden Four GE Areas (A1, A2, A3, B4) Description: Studies Western classical music in history after 1750. Topics include musical exchanges between Western classical music and non-Western traditions, including representative women, African American and Latin American composers, during the Classical Period, the Romantic era, and the 20th Century.
