Description
Hours: Three hours lecture per week Description: Introduces students to analyzing dance through writing and understanding embodied practices through reading. Considers the ritual, educational, and communicative aspects of dance with special attention to the historical, cultural, and political contexts of major dance movements, artists, and conventions.
