Description

Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite: Junior Standing and successful completion of Golden Four GE Areas (A1, A2, A3, B4) Description: Examines Baroque Art that originated in Europe in the seventeenth century with diverse expressions in different regions including Italy, Spain, and northern Europe. The study of transatlantic Baroque visual and material culture examines the interconnection between the Baroque in Europe and what resulted from global exchanges with the Americas and Asia.
