Hours: Three hours lecture and three hours laboratory per week An overview of biology from the molecular to the ecosystem level. Topics include the origin, diversity and evolution of life, ecology of populations and communities, the structure and function of plant and animal organ systems, biological molecules, cellular structure/function, genetics and cell division. No credit given toward the major in Biology.
