Description
Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite: Junior Standing and successful completion of Golden Four GE Areas (A1, A2, A3, B4) The underlying molecular causes of cancer, the impact of environmental and genetic factors on cancer causation and prevention, recent advances in diagnosis and treatment of the disease, and the impact that this disease, which will affect one in three adults, has on society. No credit given toward the biology major.
