Description
Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite: SOC 100 Description: Introduction to the sociological examination of stratification and inequality with a focus on dimensions of inequality, such as race, class, and gender, and how these (and other) axes of inequality operate in various contexts of social life. Focuses on the role of theory and evidence in drawing conclusions about stratification, including an examination of common research methods used to study stratificatio.
