Description
Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite: HIST 211 or equivalent Description: Studies and compares major religions and philosophical schools in the ancient world. Examines how different societies and peoples have formed their basic assumptions concerning the universe, faith, human nature and society, and how those fundamental assumptions have affected their chosen modes of thinking, ways of life, organizations of society, forms of government, and approaches to knowledge.
