Description
Hours: Three hours lecturer week Prerequisite: Admission to Education Specialist Teaching Credential program Description: Covers the ethical standards, professional practices, laws, regulations, and policies related to the provision of educational services to children with disabilities and their families. Also covered are models, theories, and practices that form the basis for Special Education practice, as well as the history of Special Education and the contributions of culturally diverse groups. Develops a professional perspective that reflects the status of Special Education services in society.
