Description

Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite: BIOL 201 or BIOL 217, and CHEM 110 or CHEM 121. Junior Standing and successful completion of Golden Four GE Areas (A1, A2, A3, B4) Description: Distribution and dynamics of human health problems. Principles and procedures used to determine circumstances under which disease occurs or health prevails and to aid in managing and planning health and environmental systems. The broadened scope of epidemiology is examined through case studies and community and environmental health approach.
