Description
Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite: NRS 412 and NRS 413 Corequisite: NRS 421 Description: This course focuses on person-centered care of adults requiring complex care. While considering the concepts of community, social justice, quality and safety, and professional nursing practice. This course builds on Nursing Care of Adults I & II, by expanding on the role of the nurse with an emphasis placed on nursing case management models, roles and strategies used for managing high-risk vulnerable populations in an interdisciplinary team within a complex health system and deepening the understanding of social determinants of health.
